Sunday Services

Our service is at 10:00am every Sunday and runs both in person and online via our YouTube livestream. This service includes a time of worship led by one of our bands, a Christian Life presentation, and a Bible based sermon from one of our gifted Bible teachers.

We hope to see you this Sunday!

Junior Church & XP3

From Preschool to Grade 6, children’s programming and age appropriate Bible study are offered every week during the 10am service. We also have two nursery areas where parents can still listen to the service while caring for infants and toddlers. Having many young families attend here also means we have other children’s focuses, programs, and events taking place regularly throughout the year.

XP3 is for youth in Grades 7-10. They meet every other Sunday morning in the youth hut behind the church, to enjoy snacks, music and Bible based discussion on life issues and God’s purpose for us.

Senior high youth

Our High School students (grades 9-12) meet every Sunday evening with the Youth Pastor and his team for Bible Studies and various events. It’s a friendly and welcoming group, and we’re always happy to have new people to join us.

Junior High Youth

If you’re in grade 7-8 our youth pastor and his volunteers lead events and Bible studies every Thursday evening, and we’d love for you to join us! Send us a message and we’ll get you a weekly schedule.

Small Groups

Community means more than church on Sunday morning! We have a number of small groups that meet mid-week to encourage one another, grow together in their faith, and build lasting friendships.

Ladies Connect

This ladies group meets monthly for a Monday evening potluck! The group is intentional about connection, discipleship, and fun. Led by a great team of volunteers, they’ve had a lot of new people join recently.

Online Ministry

In response to the pandemic, we have greatly increased our technological capacities as a church. Connect with our community on Facebook for news and events, or to directly message a pastor or prayer team member. Check out YouTube to stream the service live every week. And best of all, signup for our weekly church email for the latest news and updates from Pastor Denver.

Just email info@spbf.ca and indicate that you’d like to be put on the list.

Retreats

The various retreats that we organize throughout the year are now making a comeback since pandemic restrictions have lifted. Our love for building community and relationships with one another make these retreats something you won’t want to miss! Contact us for dates on the Men’s Retreat, Women’s Retreat, Youth Retreats, Canoe Trips, and our annual Church Wide Family Camp!

Global Concerns

Our church has always had a big focus on reaching out and being a part of the bigger picture of what God is doing around the world. We are privileged to be partnered with over a dozen missionary families and Christian organizations providing prayer, practical, and financial support. Our Global Concerns Committee oversees this ministry and highlights our different missionaries throughout the year, as these people work hard to bring the hope of the Gospel to people both close to home and around the world!

Prayer Encounter

We host worship and prayer services throughout the year at the church which are come and go events with various prayer stations and worship sets. These are great opportunities to grow in our faith, and we’re often surprised by the ways God shows up in power during these times. Let’s keep pushing forward in prayer and worship during this season.

Ministry at the Manoir

Every 4th Wednesday of the month, a team from our church heads over to the independent living complex here in town, to lead a service from 7-8pm for the residents. Though in-person ministry is currently limited by the pandemic, the team is still eager to serve the seniors however we can.

Community Hampers

Practical help should accompany spiritual help. One of the ways we do this is through helping families in the community with food needs. Church members drop off groceries or money at the church which is then redistributed to those in need. This ministry has grown a lot during the coronavirus pandemic as many families are encountering financial struggle. Let us know if you’d like to give to this ministry, or if you are in immediate need of food.
